Become a Cronulla Mermaid and Cheer For the Sharks

The Cronulla Mermaids are auditioning right now. Do you have what it takes to be a cheerleader for the Sharks?

Ever wanted to become a Sharks cheerleader? Do you know a friend who would be interested?

Well here’s your chance!

The Mermaids will perform at each home game in front of thousands of fans, cheer our players on, attend promotions, appearances and charity functions during season 2011. To join this squad you must be outgoing and not mind the cold... You must also be over 16 years of age.

With the Mermaids, led by the head cheerleader and choreographer - Wendy McMahon - the squad will be taught the best dance moves and latest acrobatic tricks to be performed at 11 game days at Toyota Stadium.

Audition Details:

When: Thursday 9th December

Where: Auditorium, Sharkies Leagues Club (located on the first floor)

Time: New girls: 7pm, Existing squad 8pm.

What To Wear: Comfortable dancing clothes and dancing shoes. Hair must be out.

You don’t have to register for auditions, simply turn up on the night!

After the auditions are held, the final squad members will be chosen by the choreographer and Sharks management based on their experience and abilities. Those chosen will also attend specialised dance/acrobatic classes designed to further their talents and to learn routines to be performed on Toyota Stadium.
