NCSU Wolfpack Cheerleader Callie Kirsch

NCSU Wolfpack Cheerleader Callie Kirsch was Sports Illustrated's Cheerleader of the Week on May 6, 2010.

Name: Callie Kirsch

Hometown: Thomasville, NC

School: North Carolina State University

Year: Sophomore

Major: Elementary Education

I love my school, but I almost went to: I applied to about six different schools. I knew I wanted to go to a school with a great education program, cheerleading team and football team. NCSU has all three!

My best physical feature is: I'd have to say my eyes. They change colors.

If I had to watch one movie on loop forever, it would be: Pirates of the Caribbean -- it's got action, humor, romance and British accents.

If you looked at the "most played" songs on my iPod, you'd see a lot of: The Beatles, James Taylor, Taylor Swift, Sister Hazel, TI, Amos Lee... a little bit of everything.

The shows I DVR/TiVo are: I watch One Tree Hill and The Office online. If Six Degrees was still running, I'd definitely be a fan.

My favorite Web Sites are: Flickr, Facebook and YouTube.

My favorite people to follow on Twitter are: My best friend since fifth grade. She's not at NCSU, so it can be hard to keep in touch.

My worst habit is: Staying up all hours of the night, just because.

My gameday superstitions are: Double-checking everything and wearing mismatched socks. I guess it has become a habit.

The talent I'd most like to have that I don't possess is: Being able to walk without tripping over all the bricks on campus!

These three things top my bucket list: Keep in touch with my future students and see them succeed, travel to New Zealand or Spain and go skydiving with my dad.

I'd want my last meal to be: A Greek salad, real mashed potatoes, grilled chicken and cheesecake for desert, with my family of course.

The most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me during a game is: Whenever the band plays a song that has "Go State!" in it, we try to be in the air. One time, I was a little zoned out and in the middle of my toss toe touch, my pom flew out of my hands and onto the field.

Three things I'd take to a desert island are: A friend, food and a ride home.

My favorite pro sports teams are: Red Sox.

My one guilty pleasure is: Getting lost in music.

My celebrity crush is: Ryan Scheckler.

Five people I'd like to have dinner with (living or dead) are: John Mayer, Pope John Paul II, James Taylor, Hilarie Burton and J.K. Rowling.

My friends would be surprised to know that I: have been snowboarding and lived to tell the tale.

The next risk I want to take is: Studying abroad.
